What MoodOrbit adds
What these pages are
These pages describe OOTech Inc. and MoodOrbit.
Waitlists and events
Joining a waitlist or applying to an event is a request, not a ticket or a place in line. You can ask us to stop waitlist and event emails at any time by writing to the contact address.
The general OOTech terms of use, which apply to every OOTech product
MoodOrbit is an OOTech product, so the sections below apply to you as well. They are the same words published at ootech.ai/terms, in effect 2026-10-05.
The short version
These are the terms in plain words. The sections below give the detail, and they are the ones that bind.
Everything is free to use in this release. We charge for nothing.
Your content is yours. We take only the permission we need to store it, sync it, and show it to the people you choose.
We sign you in with a link sent to your email address, and we never store a password. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google in MoodOrbit, you use your Apple or Google account.
You can delete your account at any time, and you have 30 days to change your mind.
Ontario law applies. A disagreement goes to talking first, then mediation in Toronto, then the Ontario courts. There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and OOTech Inc., a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada, with its office in Toronto.
Sites means ootech.ai and the brand sites under it. Apps means the MoodOrbit and TrueAlign apps and web apps as we publish them. Services means the Sites, the Apps and the accounts behind them.
When these terms apply
They apply when you use a Site or create an account in an App.
You must be old enough to agree to them where you live, and in any case not under 13, or under 14 in Quebec without the consent of a parent or guardian.
An account is for one person. We sign you in with a link sent to your email address, so whoever controls that mailbox controls the account. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google in MoodOrbit, whoever controls that Apple or Google account controls your MoodOrbit account. Keep it secure, and tell us if you lose control of it.
Using the apps
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Apps for their intended purpose. You may not reverse engineer them, scrape or bulk-download other people's data, resell access, or interfere with the service or its security.
You may not use scripts, bots or AI agents to access or use the web app. To let an AI assistant act for you on the OOTech or MoodOrbit web apps, connect it through our agent connection (/mcp) with your permission.
Your content
What you create in the Apps is yours. You give us only the licence we need to store it, sync it between your devices, and show it to the people you have chosen to share it with, for as long as you keep it with us.
What you share goes to the people you name, and they can see it as soon as you add them. A wellbeing entry can only be shared with someone you are already connected to. A record can also be made public. Every other way a record can be read is listed in the privacy policy under Where your data lives. There is no feed, no directory and no public profile.
What AI features may do with your content is described under AI in the privacy policy.
What is not allowed
Do not use the Services for anything unlawful, to harass or impersonate anyone, or to post content that is illegal or that you have no right to share.
You can block a person and report content from inside the Apps, and a report is recorded. We read reports within two business days and may remove content or end an account's access. We do not promise a particular outcome.
We may remove content or end an account's access where the law requires it or to protect other people.
What it costs
Nothing. Everything in the Apps is free to use in this release, and we charge for nothing.
If that changes, these terms change with it.
Waitlists and events
If you join a waitlist or apply to an event, that is a request. It is not a ticket and it is not a place in line.
You can ask us to stop the related email at any time. Write to the address under Contact.
AI features
No AI assistant ships in the Apps today.
Not professional advice
Nothing in the Services is medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and using them is not a substitute for a professional. If you need help, contact a professional or your local emergency services.
Our names and marks
OOTech, MoodOrbit and TrueAlign are names and marks of OOTech Inc. You may not use them without our permission.
If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything for it.
No warranty beyond the law
The Services are provided as they are, to the extent the law allows. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes the warranties or the rights your local law gives you, including those under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If you are a consumer, the limits your local law places on a section like this one apply.
Ending your account
You can end these terms by deleting your account. Deleting your account says what happens and when.
We may end your access if you break these terms, or where the law requires it, with notice where we are able to give it. If we do, the same deletion process applies.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
If we disagree, we talk first. If that does not resolve it, we try mediation in Toronto with a mediator we choose together, before either of us starts a court proceeding. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver. If the law where you live lets you bring a claim as a consumer where you live, this section does not take that away.
Changes to these terms
When we make a material change, we announce it before it takes effect, and every version is listed with its date under Versions at the end of this page.
If you keep using the Services after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to you, to the extent your local law allows that.
